Galileo Password

A Galileo password is required to log in to Galileo when off campus. The password can be accessed through your library account in GIL Find or by getting in touch with a librarian. On campus users should not require this password.

GALILEO

GALILEO (GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online) is a virtual library or "database of databases" made available to ABAC students through the Baldwin Library and partnership in the University System of Georgia. GALILEO at ABAC contains over three hundred databases, thousands of academic journals, and millions of articles, ebooks, videos, images, and audio recordings.

Academic Search Complete
Academic Search Complete is a multi-disciplinary database, with more than 6,100 full-text periodicals, including more than 5,100 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,100 journals and a total of 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database is updated daily and features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full-text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for nearly 1,000 journals.
MLA International Bibliography (literature and language)
The MLA International Bibliography offers a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books, and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association (MLA), the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920s and contains over 1.8 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series, and 1,000 book publishers. Subjects consist of literature, language and linguistics, folklore, literary theory & criticism, dramatic arts, as well as the historical aspects of printing and publishing. Listings on rhetoric and composition and the history, theory, and practice of teaching language and literature are also included.
