APA Guide: Useful Resources

A guide to writing papers and citing sources in American Psychological Association style.

Resources

Zotero

Zotero is a free, open-source reference management software. It is a powerful and useful tool for collecting and organizing resources, as well as producing both in-text citations and works cited pages. It has plug-ins for integration with both web browsers and word processors, including Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Tutorials and documentation are available on the Zotero website, and if you require further assistance a librarian would be happy to set up an appointment to sit down and go over the features.

Mendeley

Mendeley is a free reference manager and academic social network. It is useful for managing resources and collaborating online. As a web-based product, it provides you with access to your resources anywhere you have an internet connection and allows you to generate citations and works cited pages. The base model is free and includes 2GB of storage space; paid upgrades are available.
