While sociology does have its own citation style, espoused by the American Sociological Association, this style is largely an adaptation of the American Psychological Association (APA) style. The guide above provides you with the tools to cite in APA. If you are required to use ASA, consult the literature provided by your professor and make the necessary adjustments to APA.
