The One Button Studio at the Baldwin Library will experience some periods of unavailability during our relocation for the renovation of the Carlton Center. The Bainbridge Library is planning to open a One Button Studio soon. Check back for further details!

What is the One Button Studio?

Developed and designed by Penn State, the One Button Studio allows students to create videos with the ease of just one button.

The One Button Studio is a simplified video recording setup that can be used without any previous video production experience. The design of the studio allows you to create high-quality and polished video projects without having to know anything about lights and cameras. You only need to bring your flash drive with you and push a single button.

Studio Design
The hardware automation enabled by the One Button Studio app removes the need to physically interact with those components, allowing you to ceiling- or wall-mount your lights, camera, and microphone.  This creates a clean, uncluttered space where you can focus on creating your content.

One Button Studio

Designed and developed at Penn State University, the One Button Studio combines all the necessary components to record video into one simple press of a button. Penn State has shared their instructions so others could create studios.

The One Button Studio makes it easy for students to create professional videos.  Students simply insert a jump drive and press a button.  The lights, microphone, and camera turn on and you are ready to record.

The Studio is free to use and open any time the library is open.

All you need to bring is a flash drive and an idea!
